Cancer research centers and communities from coast-to-coast will welcome Lance Armstrong and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope as the Team crosses the country to inspire Americans to learn more about cancer research. The Team will start their journey in San Diego, California at a kick-off celebration hosted by Scripps Health. As they make their way across the country, the Team will be stopping at events hosted by The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and the Georgia Cancer Coalition in Atlanta, Georgia before completing their journey in Washington, D.C. Clinical trials conducted in and endorsed by these leading cancer research centers and organizations are leading to new and better treatments for cancer, providing hope for cancer survivors and their families nationwide.
