Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope Kick Off

An Emotional Sendoff
Cancer survivor Lance Armstrong, along with hundreds of cyclists, family members and supporters, gathered at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 11 to send the Tour of Hope Team off on the first leg of the weeklong ride.

The crowd responded with cheers and applause as Lance, Bristol-Myers Squibb CEO Peter R. Dolan and each of the 26 members of the Team was introduced and took his or her place at the start line. As the ride began, the sea of cyclists in their bright yellow jerseys gracefully streamed by to begin this incredible journey.
