Their passion propelled them. Their strength sustained them. The 26 cyclists on the 2003 Tour of Hope Team relayed across America on their bikes in one week, and in doing so, inspired everyone they encountered to join them in the race toward a cure! The Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope™ departed Los Angeles on Saturday, October 11 and reached Washington, DC on October 18. The riders -- survivors, caretakers, healers, advocates and
researchers --shared one mission, to help future generations move closer to the ultimate miracle – the cure.
Their incredible journey has drawn to a close and another is beginning. Both Teams are more determined than ever to enlist more people to learn about cancer and the promise of cancer research.
